TEDxGosport returns for 2026, bigger, bolder, and ready to inspire once again
After a hugely successful debut that saw a completely sold-out audience in 2025, TEDxGosport returns for 2026, bigger, bolder, and ready to inspire once again.
For the first time last year, the people of Gosport stepped onto the iconic red circle to share their stories, ideas, and experiences. This year, by popular demand, TEDxGosport is returning and will take place on 5th September 2026 at the amazing GoSport Activity Centre, located by Alverstoke Creek and proudly supporting us as one of our fantastic sponsors.
This year’s theme is Connection.
Open to interpretation, we invite speakers to explore what connection means to them, whether it’s connection to people, community, family, dreams, health, success, history, or our shared home of Gosport. However you define it, we want to hear your idea worth sharing, because ideas truly have the power to change everything.
Why apply? Last year’s talks reached an incredible 41.6K views on the official TEDx YouTube channel, with one standout talk, Rob Bentley’s story on connecting with people through dog walking, gaining over 16K views alone. Your story could be the next to resonate on a global stage.
Successful applicants will be fully supported throughout their journey, receiving professional speaking coaching from the TEDxGosport team, including experienced speakers, actors, radio presenters and former TEDx storytellers. They understand exactly how you’re feeling and will guide you every step of the way, from your first audition to the final applause.
Most importantly, you’ll earn the opportunity to officially become a TEDx speaker.
Applications open on 27th April via the TEDxGosport website and close on 18th May.
