We’re back on the 5th September 2026.

The theme in 2026 is CONNECTION.

TEDxGosport is an independently organised event in the spirit of ideas worth spreading, The X simply means independent with the aim of bringing people together to share a TED-like experience.

At a TEDxGosport, TEDTalk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx programme, but individual TEDx events are self-organised. TEDxGosport is a non-profit. We are managed and operated by volunteers.

We want your talk to be the best it can be...

Idea

Every good TEDx talk starts with a single global idea.

Your talk cannot be self-promotional or sell a product.

Apply

Applications open between 27th April and 18th May.

Auditions

You will be invited to an audition, no slides, just presenting.

Rehearsals

Professional speaking coaches will help you hone your talk.
