Availability & Participation Requirements

Please note that all applicants are required to:

  1. Read the following Content Guidelines and Copyright Guidelines.
  2. Agree to be photographed and filmed for the website, social media, and for talks to be published online on the official TEDx YouTube channel.
  3. Commit to attending in person on the following important dates:
    • Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June – Auditions
    • Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July – Rehearsal One
    • Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August – Rehearsal Two
    • Tuesday 18th August – Speaker Sponsor Showcase (Optional)
    • Friday 4th September – Tech Rehearsal
    • Saturday 5th September – TEDxGosport

Important Information about your application

Please note that we only ask about convictions for our records. If you do have criminal convictions, this does not exclude you from the application process.

Your audition video should be no longer than 60 seconds. If you have any trouble recording or uploading your audition video, please email team@tedxgosport.com.

The guidelines above include rules around TEDx talks and prohibited content.
Tip: You can upload your video to a private YouTube account and paste the URL, or upload to a Google Drive and share the link.

Remember to whitelist our email address to ensure that we can reach you in the event that your application is successful.

Applications close on 18 May. Only applicants who are shortlisted will be contacted, and notification will be provided by close of play on Monday, 25 May.
